NASA Commentator Lori Meggs at the Marshall Space Flight Center talks
with Ken Savin of Eli Lilly and Company about the company’s drug
research being done on the International Space Station. In its work to
develop new drugs and improve drug delivery for patients on Earth, Lilly
is one of many commercial interests that are taking advantage of the
world’s on-orbit science laboratory to do things that can’t be done in
the one gravity environment of Earth.
