Russian Space Station Supply Ship Departs ISS.
Six months after arriving at the International Space Station to deliver
three tons of food, fuel and supplies for the station’s residents, the
unpiloted Russian ISS Progress 58 cargo craft undocked from the aft port
of the Zvezda Service Module Aug. 14, headed for its deorbit hours
later to burn up harmlessly over the Pacific Ocean. Another Progress
resupply freighter remains docked to the station after arriving in July,
with the next Russian cargo vehicle – the ISS Progress 61 – scheduled
to launch Oct. 1 with additional supplies for the station’s crewmembers
