Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 44 Flight Engineer Scott Kelly of NASA provided an update on his year-long mission on the orbital complex during a pair of in-flight interviews Aug. 19 with “The Larry King Show” on HULU and Yahoo News’ Katie Couric. Kelly is nearing the halfway mark of his one-year mission along with Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko to gather valuable biomedical data that will be used to formulate a human mission to Mars.
