NASA Commentator Pat Ryan talks with John McCullough, NASA’s Orion
Vehicle Integration Manager, about the progress of preparing the
spacecraft which will carry future astronauts to destinations beyond low
Earth orbit. The capsule which will be used for the next uncrewed
flight test, targeted for 2018, is to be flown to the Kennedy Space
Center in Florida next month to begin a series of tests over the next
two years to ensure its readiness for a flight that will take it well
beyond the orbit of the moon on a flight that will last more than three
weeks.
