NASA Public Affairs Officer Dan Huot talks with Dr. Mathias Basner of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, the principal investigator of the Cognition experiment now underway on the International Space Station. This experiment measures a broad range of an astronaut’s cognitive performance to try to quantify if and by how much their abilities to think and act clearly are effected by fatigue and stress during long duration spaceflight.
